Amenities in Desktell
- Desktell enables hotels, villas, and resorts to highlight their on-site amenities by adding detailed information, helping guests explore available facilities through the Guest Service Portal.
Amenities Settings
- Configure how each amenity appears on the Guest Service Portal. Customize the display name and description, set its active status, and define the display order to control how amenities are shown to guests.
How to update the Amenities settings ?

Navigate to your workspace
- Log in to your desktell account using proper credentials.
- Click on your workspace link to enter the workspace.

Navigate to the Customize CSP

Click on the Administration tab in the top navigation bar.

In the Administration section, click on the Customize CSP tab in the side navigation bar.

In the Desktell CSP, navigate to the Settings tab under AMENITIES label.

Update the Amenities Settings by filling in the necessary details:
- Display Name: Give a suitable name for the amenities tile visible in the room service portal.
- Display Description: Give a short description for the amenities tile.
- Display Order:Provide the display order number at which the tile will be visible in the portal.
NOTE:
- The tile active status can be updated using the IsActive checkbox (click on the checkbox, then save the updates by clicking in the Save button)

Click on the Save button to save the updated information.

How to add Amenities ?

Navigate to the Customize CSP tab in the Administration section.

Add a New Amenity by following the steps given below
- In the Desktell CSP, navigate to the Amenities tab under AMENITIES label.
- In the Amenities tab, click on the New Amenity button at the top, and fill in the necessary details :
- Name: Specify the name of the amenity (e.g. Gym, Pool, Spa, and more.)
- Description: Give a suitable description for the respective amenity.
- Location: Give a descriptive location of the amenity.
- Timings: Provide the operational timings for the amenity.
- Click on the Save button to create a new amenity.

To update the active status of the amenity, there are two ways -
- New Amenity creation - The active status can be updated by clicking on the _IsActive checkbox _, then clicking on the Save button to save the updates.
- Existing amenity - The active status can be updated by clicking on the IsActive toggle button and accepting the dialog box message.

To update the existing amenity,
- Click on the respective amenity name link in the Amenities tab.
- Update the fields according to the requirements.
- Click on the Save button to save the changes.
