Cab Services in Desktell

  • Desktell enables hotels, villas, and resorts to offer cab booking services by adding relevant details, allowing guests to conveniently request transportation through the Guest Service Portal.

Cab Settings

  • Set up and manage cab services offered through the Guest Service Portal. Customize display details, service types, and request preferences to ensure a smooth and convenient experience for guests.

How to update the Cabs settings ?

  1. Navigate to your workspace

    • Log in to your desktell account using proper credentials.
    • Click on your workspace link to enter the workspace.
  2. Navigate to the Customize CSP

    • Click on the Administration tab in the top navigation bar.

    • In the Administration section, click on the Customize CSP tab in the side navigation bar.

    • In the Desktell CSP, navigate to the Settings tab under CABS label.

    • Update the Cabs Settings by filling in the necessary details:

      1. Display Name: Give a suitable name for the cabs tile visible in the room service portal.
      2. Display Description: Give a suitable description for the cabs tile.
      3. Cab Type: Specify the types of cabs available for this facility.
      4. Destination: Specify the destination/s for which the cab facility is available.
      5. Display Order: Specify the display order number at which the tile will be available in the guest portal.
      6. SLA (Service Level Agreement): Provide the SLA time to fulfill the cab service request.
      7. Guest Name: (checkbox) To enable the guest name field in the cab request form.
      8. Guest Contact Number: (checkbox) To enable the guest contact number field in the cab request form.
    • Click on the Save button to update the cabs settings.

    NOTE:

    • The cab type should be provided in the ";" seperated pattern.(e.g. Sedan;SUV; ...).

    • The destinations should be provided in the ";" seperated patern. (e.g. Airport;Hotel; ...).

    • SLA (Service Level Agreement) refers to the duration of time added with the creation time of the service request, and this total time duration is used as the time limit to fulfill the request successfully.

    • Cabs can be requested from the Guest Portal, and the cab request made by the guests will be visible in the Cab Request tab under CABS label.

    • The tile active status can be updated using the IsActive checkbox.(click on the checkbox, then save the updates by clicking in the Save button)


How to configure cab settings


How to update the status of the cab requests made by the guests ?

  1. Navigate to the Cab Requests tab under CABS label.

  2. Click on the cab request (work order) that you wish to update.

    • Customizable fields are:

      • Update work order status: Update the work order status from OPEN, IN_PROGRESS, ON_HOLD, DONE according to the actual status of the cab request using the Update Work Order Status buttons.

      • Team and Team Member update: Update the assigned team and team members from the information page of the cab request.

      • For other updates, click on the Edit Work Order button at the top.
