Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • Desktell enables hotels, villas, and resorts to address common guest queries by sharing frequently asked questions, ensuring quick access to essential information through the Guest Service Portal.

FAQs Settings

  • Configure the FAQ settings to manage and display common guest queries and answers, helping guests quickly find relevant information through the Guest Service Portal.

How to update the FAQ settings ?

  1. Navigate to your workspace

    • Log in to your desktell account using proper credentials.
    • Click on your workspace link to enter the workspace.
  2. Navigate to the Customize CSP

    • Click on the Administration tab in the top navigation bar.
    • In the Administration section, click on the Customize CSP tab in the side navigation bar.
    • In the Desktell CSP, navigate to the Settings tab under FAQs label.
    • Update the FAQ Settings by filling in the necessary details:
      1. Display Name: Give a suitable name for the FAQ tile visible in the room service portal.

      2. Display Description: Give a short description for the FAQ tile.

      3. Display Order: Provide the display order number at which the tile will be visible in the portal.

      NOTE:

      • The tile active status can be updated using the IsActive checkbox(click on the checkbox, then save the updates by clicking in the Save button).
    • Click on the Save button to save the updated information.

How to add a new FAQ ?

  1. Navigate to the Customize CSP tab in the Administration section.

  2. Add a New FAQ by following the steps given below -

    • In Desktell CSP, navigate to the FAQs tab under the FAQs label.
    • In the FAQ tab, click on the New FAQ button at the top, and fill in the following details -
      1. Question: Enter the question for the FAQ.
      2. Answer: Enter a suitable answer for the respective question.
    • Click on the Save button to create a new FAQ.
  3. To update the active status of the FAQ, there are two ways:

    1. New FAQ creation - The active status can be updated by clicking on the IsActive checkbox, then clicking on the Save button to save the updates.
    2. Existing FAQ - The active status can be updated by clicking on the IsActive toggle button and accepting the dialog box message for the respective FAQ.
  4. To edit an FAQ,

    • Navigate to the FAQs tab under the FAQs label.
    • Click on the respective FAQ link that you wish to edit.
    • On the FAQ information page, click on the Edit FAQ button, and make the necessary updates.
    • Click on the Save button to save the changes.
