Restaurants in Desktell
- Desktell enables hotels, villas, and resorts to showcase their on-site dining options by adding restaurant details, helping guests discover available venues directly through the Guest Service Portal.
Restaurant Settings
- Configure how your property's restaurant information appears on the guest portal. Customize the display name and description, set the visibility status, and define the display order to control how restaurants are presented to guests.
How to update the restaurant settings ?

Navigate to your workspace
- Log in to your desktell account using proper credentials.
- Click on your workspace link to enter the workspace.

Navigate to the Customize CSP

Click on the Administration tab in the top navigation bar.

In the Administration section, click on the Customize CSP tab in the side navigation bar.

In the Desktell CSP, navigate to the Settings tab under RESTAURANTS label.

Update the Restaurant Settings by filling in the necessary details:
- Display Name: Give a suitable name for the restaurant tile visible in the room service portal.
- Display Description: Give a short description for the restaurant tile.
- Display Order:Provide the display order number at which the tile will be visible in the portal.
NOTE:
- The tile active status can be updated using the IsActive checkbox(click on the checkbox, then save the updates by clicking in the Save button).

Click on the Save button to save the updated information.

How to add Restaurants ?

Navigate to the Customize CSP tab in the Administration section.

Add a New Restaurant by following the steps given below
- In the Desktell CSP, navigate to the Restaurants tab under RESTAURANTS label.
- In the Restaurants tab, click on the New Restaurant button at the top, and fill in the necessary details -
- Name: Enter the name of the restaurant.
- Description: Enter a suitable description about the restaurant and its cuisine.
- Locations: Enter a descriptive location of the restaurant.
- Timings: Enter the operational timings of the restaurant.
- Click on the Save button to create a new restaurant.

To update the active status of the restaurant, there are two ways -
- New Restaurant creation - The active status can be updated by clicking on the _IsActive checkbox _, then clicking on the Save button to save the updates.
- Existing restaurant - The active status can be updated by clicking on the IsActive toggle button and accepting the dialog box message.

To update the existing restaurant,
- Click on the respective restaurant name link in the Restaurants tab.
- Update the fields according to the requirements.
- Click on the Save button to save the changes.
